THE ENEMY FROM WITHIN!!! Last night I was doing some research to assist my son who lives in North Carolina by getting him the name of the health insurance exchange website for North Carolina so that he can shop around for better insurance with lower premiums, deductibles and co pays. Here are my findings: the governor of North Carolina, in conjunction with 23 other states, has refused to comply with the requirement for states to set up insurance exchange websites for the residents to be able to shop around/ purchase insurance, neither have the following 24 states (almost half of the nation). Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
